Incubator Project and Amazing Inspiration

So here is the deal…

I know that I have written about Ashley a couple times now.  I am not one to “play favorites” and I am also not one who just “re-post’s” other peoples post as blog filler.  But this is worth bringing Ashley here again to Midwest Magnolia.

This girl, who probably humbly blushes at this statement, has inspired countless women who have stumbled across her blog.  She has a huge heart that is filled with Jesus.

Ashley’s blog has touched me in several ways, most recently being her sharing in the journey of the adoption and waiting for their daughter who is in China.  Waiting is hard, y’all.  HARD.  If you haven’t ever been promised something and then had to wait for it, then you can be grateful.  On the other hand, in the act of WAITING, God does some mighty incredible God-sized things.

Ashley is a Do-er.  Here is what happened from her decision to DO during her wait.  I am sharing her post with y’all today for several reasons…

First, to offer you inspiration and joy.  Second, to show you how mighty and sovereign our God is (Isaiah 55:8-12).  Third, for the little boys and girls that need their stories to be heard and for hearts to be moved and for action to be taken.  I wish I could go love on them all and bring them all home with me.

Are you sitting down? You should be.

 Do you have a tissue handy? You should.

Are you ready for some incredible news? Get ready.

Today I get to give you all the most recent update on the “Incubator Project”. I had hoped to raise $1,400 to go towards purchasing an incubator for my daughter’s orphanage. You can click here to read that original post. In a day that amount was raised. And then more donations kept coming. Two days later we had sponsored 9 kids together and raised $13,000. Unbelievable.

Well…the final total raised….    {Full Story}

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

I do hope you take the time, just a few minutes (unless you sob like I did while reading and then took twice as long because you could barely make out the words through your blurry vision) to read this amazing story.  Like I said, I don’t re-post much here on this blog, so I definitely think this is worth it!  It will bless your heart beyond words and , my hope is that in return, will bless these babies.

Thanks y’all!
