No Sew Flower Hat & Tutorial

Being a “stay at home” mom now, I have realized my need for hats.  Funny that before, I never really “needed” a hat.  But a quick run to the grocery store has become a little more difficult than it used to be since I am now at home with my son all day with no family to just “drop him off real quick” with.

I may not be able to hop in the shower and dry my hair before some errands.  Heck, if I’m able to get some make up on my face, I’m really doing good.

Now come on, do any of you know what I am talking about here?  Or am I the only one with this dilemma?  I sure hope not.

My husband has PLENTY of hats, but none that are cute for this momma. I wanted a cute girly hat for my quick errand runnin’ moments.  I have seen some cute ones in nice boutiques which inspired me to make my own version for myself.

There are loads of tutorials for making a no sew rolled fabric flower on the internet.  I found one I liked and got right to it.  I could post my steps here, but I thought since there are already so many great ones out there, why re-do a good thing!

Here is the tutorial I used from Sugar Bee Crafts. I found this one to be the simplest instructional video.  You should also check out her blog, she has lots of great tutorial goodies!
