Fun Easter Food Finds

I’m getting so excited about Easter.  Maybe because Little B is older and can really get into the traditions of the holiday.

There are so many fun Easter Food ideas, I just had to share.

I always know that whenever a holiday is approaching, I can count on Bakerella for some fun Cake Pops.  Did you know that you could buy candy corn for Easter?  Well you can, of course she shares her sources.

Seriously y’all, could these be any darn cuter?  I love the colored sprinkles.

I have always been intimidated when it comes to cake pops.  But these are really screaming for me to give it a try.  I mean, for Little B’s sake, I have to right!

These are an oldie but a goodie for me from Bakerella. She did these a few years ago, and I still adore them.

Stop it!

These adorable fondant covered chocolate eggs from The Cookie Shop are too much!  And with Little B’s new found love with Mr. Potato Head, I think I have to make these too.  I really better get started now.  At least I still have a month.

Now, if you are some kind of crazy person and don’t like cake, then here is an sweet little Peep Cookie for you from The Sweet Adventures of Sugar Belle. Aren’t they fun?  The Peep is a classic Easter Candy and this is a fun way to play on that tradition.  I’m not a Peep kind of girl, never have been.  But I would dig into some of these.  Sorry to all my Peeps!

Ok, so I realize there are those of you who don’t dig the sweets.  I don’t understand how that’s possible, but I have come to terms with it.  So, I found some non-sweet Easter Goodies for you and your little one to enjoy.

These little Chick Sandwiches from Little Food Junction are not only cute, but healthy for you too.  Go figure!  I might even get Little B to eat his corn and cucumbers this way.

And well, this might be a little more Spring than Easter specific, but still worthy.  Maybe I’m drawn to it because the little one is obsessed with birds.  Our eating area is beside our deck, so is constantly looking for the birdies.  Mimi and Rayray bought him a bird feeder while they were here last week, so now I get him to eat by saying, “let’s go eat with the birdie’s.”  Hey, whatever works.

Hope you like these fun Easter Goodies.  I can’t wait to get started on some of these.

What fun ideas! I wish I had this kind of crafty creativity, but I can’t even bake a basic cake without it coming out lopsided and burnt around the edges. Ha. I love seeing what other people come up with, though. I especially like the little nests with the eggs in them–too cute!
